The plaza in front of the City of Atlanta Detection Center hosts a sculptural environment based on the notion of time. Four carpets are design with symbols of marking time while at the center of the plaza is a bronze mound that echoes the legend from which Peachtree gets its name: a pitchtree that once stood atop a Muscogee Nation mound.
